Awaken Your Soul Power Retreat —
Cancellation & Refund Policy

By registering for the Awaken Your Soul Power Retreat (“the Retreat”), you agree to the following terms.

1. Registration & Payment

• A $1,500 USD deposit is required at registration to secure your spot. This deposit is non-refundable.
• The balance of your retreat fee is due in full by August 25, 2026.
• All payments are processed through our travel partner, Journeys of the Spirit.

2. Cancellation by You

• Your $1,500 deposit is non-refundable under all circumstances.
• Cancellations on or before August 24, 2026: you will forfeit your deposit plus 50% of the total retreat price. The remaining 50% you have paid will be refunded.
• Replacement option: if, before the Retreat, you refer a replacement participant who is accepted by us, the refundable 50% portion may be returned to you (your deposit is still retained).
• Cancellations on or after August 25, 2026: result in the total loss of all funds paid.
• No-show at the Retreat results in the total loss of all funds paid.

All cancellations must be submitted in writing to kay@thepeakawakening.com and are effective the date we receive them.

3. Cancellation or Changes by Us

• If the Retreat does not reach minimum enrollment, we may cancel; you will receive a full refund of amounts paid to us.
• If we determine the Retreat is not the right fit for you, we may decline or cancel your registration; you will receive a full refund.
• We reserve the right to make reasonable changes to the itinerary, schedule, facilitators, activities, or to substitute accommodations of an equivalent standard, without refund, where circumstances require.

4. Force Majeure (Events Beyond Our Control)

If the Retreat cannot take place, or must be interrupted, postponed, or relocated, due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control — including hurricanes, tropical storms, flooding or extreme weather; earthquakes, fire, or other natural disasters; pandemic, epidemic, or public-health emergency; government travel restrictions, advisories, or border closures; civil unrest, strikes, or acts of terrorism; or resulting venue closure — the following applies:

• Retreat fees are non-refundable, as the amounts you have paid are committed to our venue and third-party providers under contracts that are themselves non-refundable in these circumstances.
• Wherever possible, we will postpone and reschedule the Retreat, and the full amount you have paid will be applied as a credit toward the new dates (or, at our discretion, a future retreat of equivalent value).
• If any portion of your payment is recoverable from the venue or vendors, we will return that recovered amount to you, less any non-recoverable costs and a 15% administrative fee.
• We are not responsible for costs you incur independently — including airfare, airport transfers, visas, or accommodation outside the Retreat.

This is precisely why comprehensive travel insurance is required (see Section 6). We strongly recommend a policy that includes “Cancel For Any Reason” (CFAR) and coverage for weather, natural disaster, and trip interruption.

5. Travel Arrangements

• Airfare, airport transfers, transportation to and from the venue, visas, and any accommodation outside the Retreat dates are your responsibility and are not included in your retreat fee.
• These costs are non-refundable through us under any circumstances, including cancellation, postponement, or force majeure, and are covered only by your own travel insurance.

6. Insurance (Required)

• Trip cancellation insurance is required.
• Travel and medical insurance is required. Our venue is in a remote, protected biosphere; you are responsible for your own medical and accident coverage.
• We recommend a policy that includes “Cancel For Any Reason” (CFAR) and covers weather, natural disaster, trip interruption, and emergency medical/evacuation.
• Reputable providers include World Nomads and Travel Guard, among others. Please secure coverage at the time of registration.

7. Health, Safety & Assumption of Risk

• By registering, you confirm that you are physically and mentally fit to participate in the Retreat, including travel to a remote location, ceremonies, movement, and activities.
• You assume all risks associated with your participation and travel, and you release The Peak Awakening, its facilitators, and Peaking Through Consultancy Inc. from liability for any injury, illness, loss, or damage arising from your participation, except where caused by our gross negligence.
• You are responsible for disclosing any medical conditions, allergies, or dietary needs in advance, and for carrying your own medical and travel insurance.
